We have been together for 8 years now- it truly does not seem like that long, but apparently its time to accept the fact that we are getting older! lol.
Approximately 2 and a half years ago, I became inspired to start my own business, as an Event Coordinator. I never would have imagined I have gotten as far with it as I already have. It can be stressful at times, but at the end of the day, its all worth while! I am the process of working on a referral program, as well as launching another company, affiliated with Elegant Simplicity Events. Its going to take alot of hard work, but I have faith! Its been alot harder this year, in this economy. However, you just got to look at the bright side of things! Everyone might not be able to have as Lavish of a wedding as planned but when it all comes down to it- people are not just going to stop getting married or celebrating events that come along in life...... Love, always finds a way! Now I need to buckle down to start recruiting some more staff!.....
I also work full time @ Beaumont Hospital, in Royal Oak. Juggling a full time job and running your own business can sometimes be a handful, despite it all- I have an extremely supportive husband that is with me 100% of the way. I can't imagine life without him! He has the biggest heart, of anyone I have ever met. He is always putting everyone else first, before himself and I think that is a wonderful characteristic to embrace. Chris has worked for a subcontractor for general motors for approximately 7 years. He is a sports FAN-a-tic! lol...... But I love his passion for it, and can't help but laugh to myself when I hear him clapping real loud from the other room, when the game is on, lol. I know one day he is going to make the perfect "Daddy"
We have a cat named lucky-she is also my world! her personality cracks me up and things around here, wouldn't be the same without her! lol.
We have a great life- surrounded by the great company of the best family anyone could hope for, and friends that would do anything for us!, we couldn't ask for more!..... We have recently become open to the idea of starting a family, we have put it on hold for just a few more months. We are going on a cruise in Novem. and I can't image the thought of morning sickness- and possible sea/motion sickness, being a great idea!! lol
